Ashley

Ashley is a disciple of Christ who is passionate about loving and serving others. She is a Southern gal who has lived in Georgia all her life and has been married to her husband, Frank since 1999. They have three children, Jackson, Wyatt & Mallory. She stays busy trying to balance family life and the schedules of her active children with loving and serving her community. Ashley began travelling to Honduras in 2013. She soon realized the need for sustainable empowerment of women in a community outside of the capital of Tegucigalpa. In January 2016 she founded the Red Thread Project teaching women to sew. Soon after Ashley’s non-profit joined forces with SoloHope. With transitions and changes in SoloHope’s model that came at the end of 2016, Ashley now champions the cause Stateside as the national director of SoloHope. She visits Honduras regularly and is deeply devoted to sharing the story of SoloHope. Ashley also serves on the board of a local non-profit, Mission Change, in Albany, GA focusing on the overlooked and marginalized in their community. Ashley enjoys reading, being in the outdoors, drinking coffee, and hanging out with her Doberman sidekick, Lex.
